What is an Alternative CV?
There are lots of different ways of presenting a cv other than a couple
of sheets of paper wordprocessed.
| A computerised version on a business card style CD. Cute if you have the skills (or money) to do this. Could just look flashy and you should be aiming for jobs in industrys where computer use is the norm. else the person who recieves it might not know what to do with it. |
| A video presentation (Either on DVD, CD or even VHS) If you're a clown or a comedian then it might be handy to have a video of yourself presenting your CV. It would be a unique and special way of explaing about yourself. Not suitable for many jobs we don't think though. |
| An online Cv. A website dedicated to your CV. Could work well for giving examples of web related work. |
| Musical CV - if you're a singer you could sing your details. |
For most jobs a normal paper based CV will suffice.
