Eye contact and a decent handshake will really help!

Wear somethign smart and clean. Be neat and tidy. Many people have their hair cut a few days before their interview.

Find out about the company who is interviewing you - information on your prospective employers will give you help thinking of an interesting question for that bit at the end of the interview.Find out as much as you can about the job you're applying for.

Keep a copy of your application form and read through it to check what you wrote. Also make sure you remember what you've got on your cv.

Questions you could think about prior to the interview - think of the answers that work best for you.

Tell me about yourself. Quite a vague one this, look for something that you can talk about that relates to the company or one of your more interesting hobbies.

What are your greatest strengths?
What is your greatest weakness?
Why do you want to leave your current position?
Why should we hire you?

On a scale of one to ten, rate me as an interviewer.
Aren’t you overqualified for this position?
Where do you see yourself five years from now?

What good books have you read lately?
What good films have you seen recently?
Your ability to exhibit some sort of life outside work might be important to them.
