What is a jobs fair?
These are opportunitys to people looking for jobs to talk directly to employers about the jobs available. Employers can give out application forms or interview at the job fair.
You don't have to be unemployed to attend - anyone can! THis means if you're looking for a job for any reason you can attend one of these events and find yourself a new job.
Whether you want to work part time, are returning to work after an absence, or looking for a new career a job centre will show you possibilitys.
If you're an employer wishing to attend one of these then contact your nearest job centre, there are lots of different types of events from more casual coffee mornings to information stands to full on 20+ stands for employers at annual jobs fairs.

Job fair hints - prepare as if for interiew - you might well meet your future employer so make sure you're dressed nicely and have tidy hair and shoes. Don't end up carrying a carrier bag - get a proper bag to put papers in.
